NPK fertilizers – also known as compound, complex or blended fertilizers – combine the three primary plant nutrients, nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K), in a single product, which makes them one of the most widely traded inputs in modern agriculture. Siman has supplied NPK fertilizers in bulk and bagged form since 1994, exporting to buyers across more than 90 countries on six continents. We offer a broad range of formulas – 15-15-15, 16-16-16, 20-20-20 and many others.
NPK fertilizers, also called complete fertilizers, consist of three elements – nitrogen, phosphate and potash, hence the name – NPK.
They are essential to modern state agriculture as they provide:
- plant nutrition – as they are a combination of the three main fertilizers, they can effectively nourish the plants better;
- support the entire plant from the roots to the flowering by combining nitrogen, potash and phosphate in different formulas;
- usage of NPK increases crop yield;
- by supplying a balanced proportion of the three main fertilizers they support the sustainability of modern agriculture;
- provide tailored solution to farmers according to the crop type, the soil fertility and other factors taken into account.
NPK production involves various steps that essentially lead to blending/ combining the N, P and K fertilizers in multiple formulations. This type is named bulk blended NPK.
Later the blended fertilizers can go through the granulation process which creates uniform fertilizer particles. This type is called compound NPK.
Siman Ltd offers both – bulk blended and compound NPK in various formulas such as:
- 15 – 15 – 15
- 16 – 16 – 16
- 20 – 20 – 20
and many more that cannot be listed here since the possibilities are infinite.
As for packaging – we can offer 25 or 50 kg bags; Big bags; bulk in containers – depending on the needs of the particular customer. The bags could be customized according to the buyer’s requirements.
We would be happy to serve you.

Applications
NPK fertilizers are core inputs for field crops, horticulture and plantation agriculture worldwide. Balanced grades such as 15-15-15 and 16-16-16 are used as base or maintenance fertilizers for cereals (wheat, maize, rice), oilseeds, vegetables, fruit and pasture, supporting the plant from root development through flowering and yield formation. High-analysis grades such as 20-20-20 suit intensive systems, fertigation and situations where a concentrated, evenly balanced feed is preferred. Because the right ratio depends on crop, growth stage, soil fertility and local conditions, buyers typically select a formula against a soil test or agronomic plan, and balanced NPK use consistently supports higher, more sustainable crop yields.

Frequently asked questions
What is NPK fertilizer?
NPK fertilizer is a compound (complete) fertilizer containing the three primary nutrients – nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K). The numbers in the name, such as 15-15-15, show the percentage of each nutrient by weight.
What is the difference between blended and compound NPK?
Bulk NPK blend is a physical mixture of individual nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. Compound NPK is granulated so that each granule contains all three nutrients in the same ratio, which ensures a more even distribution. We supply different types, contact us to find out more.
Which NPK grades do you supply?
We regularly supply balanced grades 15-15-15, 16-16-16 and 20-20-20, plus many other ratios and specialty formulas on request. Tell us the ratio you need and we will quote it.
Which markets do you export NPK to?
Siman exports to more than 90 countries across six continents, including Africa, the Americas, Asia and Europe, on CFR, CIF, CIP, DDU or DDP terms with full export documentation.
