The Di Ammonium Phosphate is a binary fertilizer used for soil fertilization. It contains 18% nitrogen and 46% phosphorus pentoxide (P₂O₅).The DAP supplies the right dose of phosphate and nitrogen necessary for the crops of wheat, barely and vegetables.

DAP 21-53 (crystal)
DAP 21-53 is a high-concentration binary fertilizer that provides a balanced source of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P), essential nutrients for plant growth. In the 21-53 formulation, it contains 21% nitrogen and 53% phosphorus pentoxide (P₂O₅), offering a high-phosphate content beneficial for soil fertilization.

What is di ammonium phosphate?
Di ammonium phosphate (chemical formula (NH₄)₂HPO₄) is a water-soluble ammonium phosphate salt produced by reacting phosphoric acid with ammonia. It is one of the two main ammonium phosphate fertilizers, alongside mono-ammonium phosphate (MAP). DAP appears as white to light-coloured granules or crystals and dissolves readily in water, releasing phosphate and ammonium that plants take up quickly. Because it carries both nitrogen and a high level of phosphorus in one product, it is a convenient base fertilizer at planting.
Agriculture and crop nutrition
DAP is a leading starter and base fertilizer for a broad range of crops. Its high phosphorus content supports strong root development, early growth and grain formation, while the nitrogen fraction gives an early nutritional boost. It is applied to cereals such as wheat and barley, to maize, rice, sugarcane, oilseeds and vegetables, and is a staple in intensive grain-producing regions. DAP is often blended with potash and other nutrients to build NPK programmes tailored to specific soils and crops.
